Web Citations are directory references reguarding a website. They must include the correct NAP (Name, Address, Phone Number..and web address, business hours). Google Local uses this information to judge how accurate the listing is and compares it to the other listings that are available on line. Some of these sites are: Better Business Bureau, Yellowpages, Dex, Yahoo Business, Yelp, Manta, Local, Yellowbook, etc… It’s vital for local businesses to have these addresses updated and accurate. Google’s main purpose is providing useful and accurate data to it’s searchers. It’s best to keep Google happy regardless of your views of them. By adhering to Google standards and by increase your site’s optimization you may be able to increase the range of your businesses relevance by doing “Google My Business” site optimization. This is different from SEO (Search Engine Optimization) for it focusses on your GMB (Google my Business) ranking.

Google My Business (commonly known as GMB, and formerly known as Google Local and Google Places) is a business listing on Google, not unlike listings on online business directories such as Yelp. It’s also a core element of local SEO.

LSI (Latent Semantic Indexing)

LSI keywords are a group of keywords that are scientifically related to the main keyword on a given page. For instance, if my keyword was “medical clinic”, the LSI keywords for that keyword phrase are “medical clinic near me”, medical clinic sacramento”. Adding these specific keywords allows Google to determine that you don’t “clean medical clinics”, you are not looking for a “medical clinical employment”. You are searching for a medical clinic for health related appointments and questions.

LTK (Long Tailed Keywords)

Long Tailed Keywords, is a form of search which uses the searchers exact words when entering your query. For example, if I were looking for the closest plumber to come fix a water leak I might search for “closest plumber near me for broken water pipe”. It’s more specific than searching for “Plumber Dallas”, “Plummer Houston”

The ups and downs of LTK is should you use them as individual page titles? Probably not! You would use them in content and Pay Per Click Marketing Campaigns. They are cheaper than more generic and costlier keyword searches but they help increase your marketing when skillfully implemented.

PWA (Progressive Web Application)

Progressive Web Apps are technically a?single-page website. This doesn?t mean a website built upon PWA only has one single page. It means the?page view event?happens only once, when a user initially load the website. Afterwards, all page loads are handled by Javascript.
